The Bureau has the power to modify the conditions of a particular licence, subject to following the correct modification process ..

The Bureau has the power to modify the conditions of a particular licence, subject to following the correct modification process as set out in Law No (2) of 1998, as amended. The process includes publicly notifying any proposed modification as well as consulting with and obtaining the agreement of the licensed operator. A summary of the most recent licences modified, together with the reasons for modification, are set out below. The full licence (as modified) may be downloaded from Licence holders page.

The Bureau may from time to time, and to the extent that its duties under Law No (2) of 1998, as amended, require, issue to a licensed operator(s):

A specific derogation which is a derogation for a period and on terms specified in the derogation, from the performance of particular licence conditions; and

A general derogation which is a derogation in favour of some or all classes of licensed operators for a period and on terms specified in the derogation, from the performance of particular licence conditions.
